On 5/10/15 at 0145 hours officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Beverly Place regarding a physical altercation between roommates. During the investigation officers learned subjects were in a physical altercation and one male subject struck another in the head with two glass beer bottles. Victim was transported to Kaweah Delta by ambulance. 26 year old Steven Fawcett was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into county jail.
On 5/10/15 at 0145 hours officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Beverly Place regarding a physical altercation. During the investigation officers learned male suspect had struck his live-in girlfriend in the head with a closed fist and attempted to strike her several other times.
On Sunday morning, 5-10-15 at approximately 0016 Hrs, Exeter Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a white 1996 Acura sedan on Visalia Rd at Anderson. The driver, Eduardo Calleja, Date of birth 11-30-91, 23 years of age, 5’ 10” in height, 172 Lbs, black hair and brown Eyes from Tulare was found to be driving while intoxicated and under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, which he was transporting in his vehicle, a double edged switch blade knife, two glass pipes used to smoke Meth, marijuana and a marijuana pipe. Calleja was also found t be on active State Parole and in violation of same. Calleja was transporting a 17 years old male passenger, from Visalia, also found to be under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance. The charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor was added to Calleja’s charges. Both Calleja and the 17 year old passenger were placed under arrest and transported to the Exeter Police Department for processing. Calleja’s vehicle was towed and stored.
Both Calleja and the juvenile were processed accordingly and the 17 year old was released to the custody of his parents with charges pending. Calleja was booked into the Tulare County Pre Trial Facility to await Court. State Parole placed a hold and violated Calleja’s parole conditions as well.
On 5/11/15 Officers responded to the Kaweah Motel in the 300 block of south Kaweah for a report of a theft. It was discovered that property valuing approximately $700 was stolen from a motel room. Suspect information was obtained and this case is currently under investigation by the Exeter Police Department.
On 5/11/15, at approximately 1938 hours Exeter PD contacted a Troy Don Russell in the 500 Blk of S. Kaweah. Russell appeared very agitated and displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Russell was arrested and booked for being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Russell was booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.

On 05/13/2015, at approximately 2352 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. Officers discovered the driver, Nancy Garcia, was driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license. Garcia was issued a citation and a court date then released to a licensed driver.
On 05/14/2015, at approximately 0035 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for stopping in the middle of the roadway and not having license plates on the vehicle. Throughout the course of their investigation, Officer discovered the driver, Cindy Arredondo, was driving her vehicle without a license. The vehicle was towed and Arredondo was issued a citation and a citation.
On 5/14/14, at approximately 0857 hours Exeter PD officers were dispatched to the area of Palm and Quince regarding an intoxicated person lying in the yard of a residence. Contact was made with the male subject, who was extremely intoxicated and was unable to safely care for himself. The subject was taken into custody and later booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.

05-15-15 at approximately 0100 AM. Jorge Gutierres age 49 of Exeter was contacted in the east alleyway of the 300n block of S. Kaweah. Gutierres was found to have a outstanding warrant for his arrest and he was taken into custody by Exeter P.D. and released with a promise to appear. Gutierres is described as a HMA 508/165 Blk/ Bro D.O.B. 01-18-66
05-15-15at approximately 0132 AM.Exeter police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Visalia Rd. regarding a single vehicle traffic accident and a car over turned. The driver reported he was not injured and fell asleep at the wheel. City property was damaged and a accident investigation was conducted by Exeter P.D.
On Thursday, 05-14-2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department contacted Santiago Ramos (07/04/1989,503,155,Blk,Bro) in the 300 block of N Filbert St. Throughout the course of their investigation, Officers located heroin as well as other drug related paraphernalia on his person. Ramos was booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility for multiple drug related charges.
On 5-15-2015, Officers were dispatched to a non injury traffic accident at the intersection of Palm and Filbert. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Ricardo Gonzalez-Nava (HMA, 9-19-1980, 34 YOA, 5-5, 175, bro, bro) was driving while on a suspended license. He was arrested and later released at the scene for driving on a suspended license. His vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
On 5-16-2015, Officers responded the 300 block of S H Street for the report of a petty theft of a lawn mower. This case is currently under investigation.
On Saturday, 5-16-15 at approximately 0502 Hrs, Exeter Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of E. Meyer Ave for a speeding violation. The driver, 17 years of age from Visalia, was found to be driving unlicensed, a misdemeanor vehicle code violation. The 17 year old driver was subsequently placed under arrest and was issued a citation for these violations and released to a parent at the scene.
