On 2-13-15 Officers took a report of a burglary in the 500 blk of E Prospect. The theft is being investigated.
On 2-14-15 Officers contacted and arrested Stephen Aaron Griffin in the 300 blk of Peach. Griffin was arrested for an active warrant and for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He is described as a WMA, 6-01 225lbs, Bro Blu, with a DOB of 4-22-81. He was booked into Tulare County Jail without incident.
On 02/15/2015 at approximately 0400 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department arrested Andrew Ritchie (06/24/1990,606,160,Bro,Blu) for public intoxication. Andrew was transported and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial facility.
On 02/16/2015 at approximately 0109 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department arrested Mark Rhodes (08/25/1996,510,150,Bro,Hzl) for public intoxication. Mark was transported and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial facility.
ON 02-16-15 at approximately 1415 hrs, Officers responded to the 400 block of S I St in regards to a fight in progress. Upon arrival Officers arrested 59 year old Gary Lee Alford for Domestic Battery with injury. Alford was transported to the Exeter Police Dept. for processing. He was later transported to the TCSO Pre Trail facility where he was booked. He is described as a WMA, Height: 600, Weight: 190, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Light Brown.
On 02/16/15 at approximately 1010hrs., a 15yr old male juvenile was arrested in the 300 block of W. Chestnut for simple assault to one of his parents, and also for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
02-18-15 at approximately 0845 hours. Donald Romero Age 49 of Exeter was arrested, cited and released by Exeter P.D. in the 300 block of N. Quince St. Romero had a Infraction warrant for drug possession and was released with a court date to appear. Romero is described as a HMA 505/160 Blk/Bro D.O.B. 04-26-65
On 02/18/2015 at approximately 0800 hours, Cornelia Farris DOB 07/09/1971 was arrested, cited and released on a Warrant in the 300 block of N. Quince, by officers with the Exeter Police Department.
The warrant was issued for a for violation of Ed Code 48293. Farris Is described as an adult Hispanic female, 5’07 “ 145 Lbs.
02-18-15 at approximately 11:55 AM. Ambria Howard age 24 of Exeter turned herself into Exeter P.D. regarding a misdemeanor assault warrant for her arrest. Howard was released with a new court date and is described as a WFA 507/135 Bro/Bro D.O.B 05-11-90
On 02-18-15 at approximately 0000 hrs, Officers responded to the 600 block of Glenn Ave in regards to a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the victim who stated his 2015 Kia had been stolen. Subsequent investigation led to the of a female Juvenile. The suspects name is being withheld due to her age. She is described as a WFJ, Height: 505, Weight: 150, Hair: Brown, Eyes: Hazel. The suspect was also cited for driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license. She was transported the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility where she was booked without incident.
On 2-18-15 Officers took a report of stolen rims and tires from the 700 block of W Vine Ave worth $120. The incident is under investigation.
On 2-20-15, Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle from the 300 block of S Crespi. The case is still under investigation.
On Friday, February 20, 2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of Davis Avenue for reports of a gunshot victim . Upon Officers arrival, they discover the victim had a gunshot wound to his left foot and was taken to Kaweah Delta for treatment.
On Saturday, February 21, 2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department arrested Martha Valentin (01/02/1984,Bro,Bro,500,150) for driving a motor vehicle without a license. Martha was issued a citation and released to a licensed driver
ON Sunday, February 22, 2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Sheryl Avila (05/24/1962,501,110,Bro,Blu) for riding a bicycle without a headlight. Throughout the course of their investigation, Officers arrested Sheryl for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Sheryl was cited out and released to a responsible party.
02-23-15 At approximately 3:26PM. Exeter police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of N. Kaweah for a report of juveniles shop lifting. Surveillance footage is being reviewed to identify the juveniles involved and the theft is under investigation
On Thursday, 2/19/15, at approximately 1400 hours officers with the Exeter Police Dept. contacted an adult female subject at the 300 block of S. Kaweah. The female who was identified as Kim Spiller D.O.B. 1/12/75 exhibited multiple signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. After an evaluation in a controlled environment, officers determined that Spiller may in fact be under the influence of a controlled substance. Spiller was cited and released to family members for violation of HS 11550. Spiller is described as a White Female adult, 5-07 and 190lbs. Brown hair and Hazel eyes.
On 2-25-2015, Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kaweah and Clarence. During the stop the driver of the vehicle (Tovias Puga, 2-21-1987, 28 YOA, HMA, 5-6, 140, blk, bro) was found to be driving on a suspended license. Puga was arrested and later released with a citation. His vehicle was towed and stored.
02-25-15 at 08:09 Am. An Exeter resident in the 500 block of S. Belmont reported that a potted plant was stolen from the front yard of her residence. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.
On 2-25-2015, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of E Palm for the report of a burglary that occurred over night. Entry to the building was made by means of kicking in a door. This case is currently under investigation.
On 2/25/15 at 0921hours Exeter PD Officers responded to the 300 block of Beverly Place, on arrival it was reported that an assault had occurred on 2/24/15. Victim reported that she was struck several times with closed fists by two known male subjects. Victim also reported she had a cell phone taken by one of the suspects.
