On 03/13/2015 at approximately 1800 hours, Officers responded to a business located on Pine street for a report of a theft.  The owner of the business stated the day prior, a male and female were recorded on video surveillance, taking a Cancer Donation Jar full of money from an open window, and could be seen quickly leaving the area on foot.  This case is still active.

 

On 03/14/2015 at approximately 2350 hours, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of north Filbert for a report of a hit and run accident.  Upon arrival, officers determined a vehicle traveling south on Filbert, veered off the roadway, and into the front yard of a residence causing damage to a fence.  Witnesses stated the vehicle fled the scene traveling west on Visalia road prior to the arrival of Exeter police.  This case is still active.

 

On 03/14/2015 at approximately 0030 hours, officers were dispatched to a business on Pine and street.  Two female patrons stated they had been assaulted by another unknown female.  Both victims refused medical treatment and the female suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of Exeter police.  The assault was captured on video surveillance.  This case is still active.

 

 

03-11-15 at 08:33 AM. An resident in the 400 block of S. “D” St. reported the theft of an item from the front porch of the residence. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.

 

03-16-15 at approximately 4:00 PM. An Exeter High School student reported that a cell phone was taken during school hours. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.

 

03-17-15 at approximately 0800 AM. Dalton J Elam age 47 of Exeter was arrested in the 300 block of W. Willow for a active warrant resulting from prior drug charges. Elam was found to be under the influence of stimulants and was found to be in possession of 4.23 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Elam was booked into the Tulare county jail and is described as a WMA 508 / 175  Bro / Bro   D.O.B. 11-02-68

 

On 3-17-15 officers contacted and arrested Miguel Avila for driving without a license. Avila is described as a HMA, 6-00 200, Bro Blk, With a DOB of 10-18-90. Avila was released with a citation.

 

On 3-17-15, Officers responded to a vehicle fire in the 300 block of S Kaweah Ave. Tulare County Fire extinguished the fire and determined the fire started due to arson. The case is still being investigated.

 

On 3-17-2015, Officers observed several individuals in the 300 block of W Willow.  One of the subjects was positively identified as a wanted, dangerous felon, from the state of Washington (Jamie Rivera, 8-7-93, 21 YOA, HMA, 6-1, 280, bro, bro)  Rivera was wanted for escape from custody, assault on a peace office and possession of dangerous drugs.  Rivera was detained and later arrested for his warrant.  He was also questioned in regards to a separate case for conspiring to commit a crime and theft.  Rivera was booked on his warrant as well as charges for conspiring to commit a crime and theft.

 

On 3-17-2015, Officers contacted Joshua Gilbert (8-17-86, 28 YOA, WMA, 6-2, 180, bro, blu) in the 300 block of W. Willow.  Gilbert was found to have a controlled substance in his possession.  Gilbert was booked into TCSO Pre Trial Facility for charges of possession of a controlled substance.

 

On 3-17-2015, Officers contacted Michael White (11-5-67, 47 YOA, WMA, 5-9, 195, bro, blu) in the 300 block of W. Willow.  White was found to have a butterfly knife on his person as well as a controlled substance.  White was booked into TCSO Pre Trial Facility for charges of possession of a switchblade knife and possession of a controlled substance. 

 

On 3-17-2015, Officers were contacted at the Exeter Police Department regarding possible identity theft.  This case is currently under investigation. 

 

On 3-18-2015, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Palm and G Street.  The driver of the vehicle (Angel Prado, 5-7-97, 17 YOA, HMJ, 5-8, 245, bro, bro) was found to be driving without a valid driver’s license.  He was issued a citation and later released at the scene.  His vehicle was towed and stored for 30 days.

 

On 3-18-15 at approximately 1711 Hrs. Exeter Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of South H Street regarding an assault and battery. The victim reported that she was attacked by her male cousin, after a short argument,  who grabbed her neck, took her down to her knees and held her there, squeezing the back and sides of her neck, causing visible injuries. The male cousin did not let go of the victim until pulled off by family members. The identity of the suspect is known and the case is currently under investigation

 

On 3-19-2015, Officers took a report of a theft of a credit card.  The card was found to be used at several local stores.  This case is currently under investigation. 

 

On 3/19/15 at approximately 1600 hours Exeter PD units responded to the 600 block of Glen Avenue in Exeter regarding a physical fight in progress between two juvenile siblings.

Both juveniles sustained minor injury and declined medical attention.  Case was forward to Tulare County District Attorney and Juvenile Probation for review.

 

On 3/19/15 at approximately 1600 hours Exeter PD units responded to the 600 block of Glen Avenue in Exeter regarding a physical fight in progress between two juvenile siblings.

On Friday, March 20, 2015, at about 2120 hours, I was dispatched to the 300 block of N. Quince in regards to a male subject who was intoxicated and destroying property.  He was also in an argument with his spouse.  Upon arrival, a  female reporting party was contacted and she stated that the Hispanic male who was identified as Juan Manuel Flores Ramos, with the DOB of 06/24/1974 had been drinking for a couple of days and  began an argument with her.  She stated that Mr. Ramos had become upset and broke the window of their vehicle.  When Ramos was contacted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from him and he was uncooperative.

 

 

 

On 3-21-15 at approximately 0106 Hrs. Exeter officers conducted an enforcement stop on a silver Cadillac CTS on Visalia Rd at Albert. The driver, Karla Martinez-Beltran, 24 Years of age, Date of birth 9-4-90, 5’5”, 145 Lbs, black hair and brown eyes, from Tulare was found to be driving while unlicensed, a Misdemeanor California vehicle code violation. Martinez-Beltran was placed under arrest and was subsequently released on her signed promise to appear. Her vehicle was towed and stored pursuant to EPD policy and California vehicle code authority section 22651p.
