On 01/13/16 Officers were dispatched to the 700 block regarding an attempted vehicle theft. Officer discovered that an unknown suspect had tampered with the ignition of a truck that was parked on the street. The theft was interrupted by the homeowner and the suspect fled on foot. No suspects have been identified and the case is currently under investigation.
On 01/13/16 a residential burglary was reported in the 400 block of S. Francis. Entry was made by force through the back door of the residence and multiple items were taken. No suspects have been identified and the case is currently under investigation.
On 01/13/16 Officers contacted Eli Rocha in the 400 block of N. Quince. Rocha was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and heroin. He was arrested and booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.
On 1-14-2016, Officers responded to the 600 block of W Visalia road for the report of a non-injury traffic accident. Both vehicles involved in the accident were towed from the scene at the owner’s request.
On 1-14-2016, Officers contacted Rogelio Rocha Jr (9-11-78, 38 YOA, HMA, 5-8, 162, blk, bro) in the 300 block of S Kaweah. He was found to have an active Warrant for his arrest out of Porterville. He was detained and found to have a controlled substance which he possessed with intent to sell. He was later released to Porterville PD Officers.
On 1-15-2016, Officer were dispatched to a trespass in progress. When Officer arrived on scene they contacted Benny Madrid (7-5-73, 42 YOA, HMA, 5-6, 160, blk, bro) who was found on the property in question. He was detained and found to have paraphernalia and burglary tools on his person. He was arrested and transported to TCSO Pre Trial Facility without further incident.
01-15-16 at approximately 2:22 PM. Exeter police responded to the 300 block of S. “G” St. regarding a gang related fight in progress. The incident is under investigation and the suspect is being sought by police.
On 1-16-2016, Officer took a report of a petty theft of a chain saw that occurred in the area of Palm and F Street. This case is currently under investigation.
