On 09/14/14 at approximately 1230 hours, Officers responded to the Rite Aid on Visalia road for a report of a theft that just occurred. Officers were provided a description of the suspects and a last direction of travel. A search of the area was conducted; however, no one matching the description was located. A report was taken and officers cleared the scene without incident.
On 09/15/14 Officer’s responded to the 600 block of Emperor regarding a burglary. The victim found his back door broke and the door leading into the house was pried open. Items in the victim’s house had been gone through. This case is still under investigation.
On 09-15/14 Officer’s received a report of vehicle vandalism. The victim stated sometime during the night a white powdery substance was poured into her gas tank. This case is still under investigation.
On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department took a traffic accident involving a vehicle verse pedestrian in the intersection of S. “E” St and Chestnut Ave. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
On Monday, 09-15-2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department took a possible child abuse case at a residence near the 600 block of Glenn Ave. The case has been forwarded to the CWS for further investigation.
On Monday, 09-15-2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department took a report of a physical altercation between mother and daughter. The case is being sent to CWS for further investigation.
On 09-16-2014, Officers took a report of a stolen bicycle in 200 block of Chestnut Ave.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, Officers With the Exeter Police Department contacted Patricio Ortiz Jr. (03/06/1976, 510, 180, Bro, Blk). After investigation, Officers discovered that Patricio had two active misdemeanor warrants for his arrest for DUI and drug paraphernalia. Patricio was subsequently arrested and later cited out with a court date.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department arrested Nathan Valentino (03-27-1992, 600, 147, Blk, Bro) for stealing a bottle of alcohol from Rite Aid. Nathan was booked into the County Jail.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, Officers took a vehicle burglary in the 300 block of Jacobs Place where a stereo and speakers were taken.
On 09-18-2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department took a report of a stolen cell phone in the 500 block of N. Quince St. Throughout investigation Officers were able to locate and return the cell phone.
On 09-18-2014, Officers with the Exeter Police Department responded to the 300 block of N. D St in regards to a physical altercation between minors that had occurred. An investigation is still being conducted at this time.
On 9-18-14 officers contacted a female at the police department. The female wanted to report a theft from a vehicle that occurred in the 100 blk of S G Street during the evening hours of 9-17-14. The theft is being investigated.
