On 11-08-2014 at approximately 1825 hours, officers with the Exeter Police Department were dispatched to the Village/Stanley area of town for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers met with multiple subjects. When attempting to get statements from the subjects, one subject became confrontational and made threats to harm one of the officers. The subject, Juvenal Rodriguez(06-08-92, 5’06”, 180, Blk, Bro) was arrested and later cited out with a court date.
On 11-15-2014 at approximately 2257 hours, officers with the Exeter Police Department were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of Pine street regarding a fight in progress with weapons. Officers arrived on scene and determined Roberto Rocha (07-10-77, 5’10” 185, Bro, Bro) was intoxicated and pulled a knife on another person. He was arrested and later booked into the Pre-Trial booking facility.
On 11-16-14 at approximately 1700 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a drunk driver on Kaweah coming into the city. The vehicle was located in the 500 block of S. Kaweah. The driver, Carlos Penaflor (06-15-73, 5’06”, 140, Blk, Bro) was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license. He was booked at the Pre-Trial booking facility.
Scott Fought (11-16-14, 26, 6’, 175) was arrested in the area of F Street and Willow Ave for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 11-17-2014, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Mountain View for the report of a suspicious person in the area. Officer contacted Donald Romero (4-29-65, HMA, 5-4, 170, bro, bro) and found him to have five outstanding warrants for his arrest. Romero was arrested for the warrants and was booked into TCSO Pre Trial Facility without incident.
On 11-16-2014, Officer were dispatched to the 200 block of S Quince for a check the welfare. Upon arrival Officers contacted Robert Sanchez (8-6-91, HMA, 5-10, 190, bro, bro) and found him to be intoxicated. Sanchez was also found to have three warrants for his arrest. He was arrested for public intoxication and for the outstanding warrants. He was later booked into TCSO Pre Trial Facility without incident.
On 11-17-14 at approximately 1055 hrs a Juvenile suspect entered a store in the 1100 block of W Visalia Rd and stole seven items. Upon exiting the store the alarm went off and an employee confronted the suspect in the parking lot. The suspect dropped the property and fled S/W through the parking lot. The total of the items stolen / recovered are approximately $55.44.
On 11-17-14 between the hours of 0800 and 1140, a residence was forcefully entered in the 400 block of S H St. Access was made through a window on the south side of the residence. The victim is unknown at this time if any property was taken from her residence. The investigation is ongoing.
