On 11-19-14 at approximately 0850 hrs, Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival Officer discovered that the male suspect assaulted his wife by pushing her onto the couch and then grabbing her by the font of her throat. The victim sustained minor bruising to the right side of her throat during the incident. The male suspect was arrested for the incident and transported to the TCSO Pre-Trial Facility where he was booked without further incident. He is described as a WMA 5 feet 8 inches in height, 200 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
On 11-19-14 while officers were investigating a domestic violence incident the officers located a large amount of Marijuana inside the residence. A report was filed with the DA’s office requesting additional charges.
On 11-19-14 Officers responded to the 300 blk of North Orange in regards to a theft of license plates. A report was taken.
On 11-18-14 Officers responded to the 300 blk of N Jacobs in regards to a theft of license plates. A report was taken.
On 11-18-14 Officers responded to the 820 San Juan for a theft of a cell phone. The case is under further investigation.
On 11-17-14 Officers arrested a juvenile in the 500 blk of N Kaweah for resisting arrest and for providing false information.
11-20-14 at approximately 4:30 PM. A store clerk in the 100 block of S. “E” St. reported the theft of a purse from a business. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.
11-21-14 at approximately 0557 AM. A resident in the 900 block of Orchard St. reported that unknown suspect(s) entered her residence and were then scared off by the home owner. The attempted theft of a bicycle was reported and the incident is under investigation.
On 11-22-2014 at approximately 2325 hours, an officer with the Exeter Police Department stopped a vehicle in the area of Palm/G for multiple vehicle code violations. The driver, Standley Bayne (04-10-71, 6’05”, 230, Bro, Bro) was found to be driving without a license. He displayed signs of alcohol intoxication. He also had an arrest warrant from another county. Bayne was arrested for DUI, driving on a suspended license, and the warrant.
