On 01/31/2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department arrested Jeffery Kramer (09/29/71,510,170,Blu,Bln) for an active Felony Warrant for his arrest.

 

On 1/28/15 Officers were dispatched to the 100 blk of 3rd  ST for the report of a theft. During an investigation it was found that a propane forklift had been stolen. Investigation ongoing.

 

On 1-30-15 Officers took a report of a court order violation at the Exeter Police Department. The report has been submitted to the District Attorney.

 

On 1-30-15 Officers were informed of an inappropriate post on Craigslist.  A suspect was identified and a report was submitted to the District Attorney.

 

-conducted a traffic stop on Joshua Brooks (09/09/1990,Brn,Brn,510,135) for an inoperable out head light on his vehicle. Officers later determined Joshua was driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was subsequently arrested. Joshua was arrest and taken to the Police Department where he was processed and released to a responsible party with an agreement to appear.

 

On 2-2-2015, Officer responded to the 200 block of N E Street for the report of a stolen vehicle that occurred overnight.  This case is currently under investigation. 

 

02-02-15 at 0955 AM. Exeter police were dispatched to a church in the 300 block of east Firebaugh regarding an instance of vandalism. An investigation is being conducted by Exeter P.D.

 

On 2-3-15, Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle taken from the 800 block of Monarch circle which had occurred over night.

 

02-03-15 at 4:55 PM. An Exeter resident advised Exeter police that she had been confronted by an irate male subject in the parking lot of a local retail store. The subject reportedly did not think she was legally parked in a handicapped stall when he reportedly struck her vehicle several times with his cane causing damage to the vehicle’s finish. The subject was identified and admitted to striking the vehicle, but denied causing damage. The subject was given the opportunity at the request of the victim to facilitate repairs and he refused. A vandalism report was taken and forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for disposition .

 

On 2-3-2015, Officer responded to the 200 block of E Firebaugh for the report of a grand theft. This case is currently under investigation. 

 

On 2-3-2015, Officer contacted Eugene Gaines (8-26-76, 38 YOA, WMA, 6-1, 270, Bln, Blu) who was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.  Gaines was arrested and transported to Exeter Police Department for processing.  He was later released with an agreement to appear without incident.

 

02-04-15 at 2:05 PM. An Exeter resident in the 700 block of S. Kaweah reported that an unknown suspect stole gardening equipment from her car port. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.

 

On 2-4-15, Officer were dispatched to the 1100 block of W Chestnut for a vandalism. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who reported a group of juveniles damaged her mail box with a baseball bat. The case is still under investigation.

On 02-09-15 at approximately 1730 hrs, Officers responded to the Exeter Police Department for a theft of a bicycle which occurred over the weekend. The victim reported his Schwinn Cruiser bicycle, red and white in color was stolen from his back yard in the 300 block of Peach. The victim reported the bicycle was worth approximately $120.00. This case is currently under investigation.

 

On Tuesday, 02/10/2015, at approximately 1700 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department responded to the 800 Block of W. Visalia Road in regards to a theft. The reporting party stated between August 2014 and today’s date, unknown subjects entered her residence (on separate occasions) and stole approximately $2600.00 worth of Jewelry and other property. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence or other physical evidence located at the scene. This case is being investigated by officers with the Exeter  Police Department.

 

ON 02-10-15 at approximately 2145 hrs, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S Kaweah in regards to the theft of beer. Subsequent investigation led to a male individual entering the store and stealing four 40 ounce bottles of Old English Malt Liquor. The suspect exited the store and was chased by the store cashier. While running away, the suspect dropped three of the four bottles of beer. This case is currently under investigation

 

On 2-9-2015, Officers responded to the 100 block of N Orange for the report of a vehicle hit and run.  The crime appeared to have happened overnight where a parked vehicle was struck by an Pontiac Bonneville, white in color.  The Pontiac Bonneville appeared to have sustained major damage to the passenger side.  Any information regarding this case should be reported to the Exeter Police Department.  This case is currently under investigation. 

 

On 02/10/15 at approximately 0100 hours 4 subjects were walking in the area of the High School.  The four subjects knocked over a lion statue causing it to break in three pieces.  This case is still under investigation.

 

On 2-11-2015, Officers were dispatched to a possible assault with a deadly weapon.  This case is currently under investigation. 

 

On Tuesday, 02/11/2015, at approximately 0847 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department responded to the 500 Block of Second St. in regards to a theft. The reporting party stated between 2-10-15 and 2-11-15, unknown subjects entered a gated storage lot and stole a Ag Trailer and several pallets. There were no signs of forced entry to the locked gate. 

 

On Tuesday, 02/11/2015, at approximately 1400 hours, the reporting party came to the Exeter Police Department  to report a theft by false pretenses.  The Reporting party stated that on 2/6/15 she was contacted by  unknown male adult claiming to be with “Publishers Clearinghouse” and that the victim won money.  The victim was requested to send a Cashier’s Check for $1350 and send it to an address in NY.   This case is being investigated by officers with the Exeter Police Department.

 

On Friday, February 13, 2015, Officers with the Exeter Police Department conducted a traffic stop for multiple vehicle code violations. Officers contacted the driver, Richard Torres Jr. (10/01/1972,510,250,Bro,Bro) who was subsequently arrested for a misdemeanor warrant and driving on a suspended license. Richard was transported to the Police Department and later released with a court date.

 

On 02/13/2015, at approximately 2201 hours, Officers with the Exeter Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving eastbound on Visalia Road without any lights. Officers discovered that the driver, Daniel Sanchez-Verdin (09/26/1996,Bro,Bro,602,140) was driving without a license. Daniel was issued a citation for driving without a license and driving without lights. The vehicle was towed.
