03-31-15 at 12:09 AM. An Exeter resident reported funds were fraudulently removed from her bank account. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D. and forwarded to the law enforcement agency where the crime occurred.
On 3-31-2015, Officers were dispatched to a vehicle that was vandalized in the 400 block of N Quince. The vehicle was found to have several deep scratches on the passenger side. This case is currently under investigation.
On 3-31-2015, Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of W Maple for the report of a burglary. Upon arrival it was found several items were taken from the residence and thrown into a trash can in the alley way behind the residence. This case is currently under investigation
On Monday, 3-30-15 at approximately 2245, Exeter Officers were dispatched to the area of Jacobs and Betsy Pl. regarding vehicle vandalism. All four suspects were caught in the vicinity of the crime and were determined by witnesses, shoe tracks and their own admission to having committed the crime. All four suspects were taken into custody at the scene and all evidence, including shoes were confiscated as evidence. The suspects were all determined to be on foot, in Exeter, from Farmersville causing havoc in their path. The suspects were also found to have committed additional vehicle vandalism in the immediate area and to have vandalized garden lighting at a residence in between. Both vehicle vandalism cases were classified as felonies due to the amount of damage caused. Taken into custody were Jose Alvarado, 18 years of age, Date of birth 6-26-96, 5’3”, 115 Lbs from Farmersville, Sergio Garcia Jr., 20 years of age, date of birth 12-16-94, 6’2”, 150 Lbs from Farmersville, Orion Gonzales, 18 years of age, date of birth 5-20-96, 6’0” 190 Lbs from Farmersville and a 17 year old male juvenile, also from Farmersville. All three adults were booked into the Tulare County Pre Trial Facility of felony vandalism charges, conspiracy to commit a felony and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The juvenile disposition is withheld due to his age.
03-31-15 at approximately 4:33PM. A Doctors office in the city of Exeter reported that a subject fraudulently attempted to obtain a prescription. A criminal report was taken by Exeter P.D.
On 4-1-2015, Officers took a report of a violation of a court order in the 300 block of Beverly. The suspect in this case refused to turn her children over the legal guardian. A report was made to be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office.
On Wednesday, 4-1-15 at approximately 1857 Hrs. Exeter Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of S. H Street regarding the theft of a leaf blower. The victim reported the leaf blower stolen from his landscaping trailer while on a job in the area. The leaf blower was valued at $440.00. The case is currently under investigation.
04-02-15 at approximately 0940 hours. An Exeter resident reported that funds were removed from her bank account fraudulently. A theft report was taken by Exeter P.D.
On 4-2-2015, Officers contacted Cody Prideaux (3-12-89, 26 YOA, WMA, 5-8, 190, bln, blu) in the area of Vine and Francis. Prideaux was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and later issued a citation and released without incident.
On 4-2-2015, Officer were dispatched to the 500 block of E Palm for a theft of a ring from a yard sale. A report was made and the suspects are still outstanding. This case is currently under investigation.
On 4-2-15, Jerica Metcalf (5-17-91, 23, 5’11, 235, Bro, Blu)was arrested in the 800 block of Vine Ave for driving without a license. She was cited and released on scene.
On 04/4/15 at approximately 2000 hours, Officers were in the 400 block of S. Quince when they observed a white Acura sedan with visible damage and debris in the roadway. The driver, Eduardo Calleja (DOB 11/31/91, HMA, 5’10, 172, Blk, Brn) was contacted a short time later and was determined be under the influence of drugs and alcohol during the time of the accident. Calleja was booked andithout incident.
On 04/5/15 at approximately 0200 hours, Officers were dispatched to the area of Fischer Street and Meadow Street for a report of a possible drunk driver. Upon arrival, Officers found the driver, Micheal Neil Fryers, of Australia (DOB 9/7/90, WMA, 5’10, 160, Bln, Brn) to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and incapable of driving safely. Fryers was booked and charged
On 4-4-15 officers contacted and arrested Medardo Ramirez in the area of G at Cedar on a traffic stop for driving without a license. Ramirez is described as a HMA, 5-05 162lbs, blk and bro, with a DOB of 7-20-77. Ramirez was released with a citation.
On 4-4-15 Officers were dispatched to 400 BLOCK OF Visalia Road in regards to an altercation. Officers arrived on scene and detained a female who was attempting to flee. Officers discovered that the female, Ciara Nocedal, a male named Gabriel Hernandez, and a second unknown male entered a store with the intent to steal merchandise. During the theft Nocedal attacked the clerk during the theft. Nocedal was arrested and charged with strong arm robbery, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer. Nocedal is described as a HFA, 5-01 140bls, bro bro, with a DOB of 3-12-97. Hernandez was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime. He is described as a HMA, 5-10 150lbs, bro bro, with a DOB of 11-2-94. Both subjects were booked into Tulare County Pre Trial. Hernandez was also arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
On 4/6/15 Michelle Schendel (DOB 6/22/74, 5-4, 210, bro/bro) was contacted during a traffic stop in the area of Belmont and Meadow. Schendel was found to be driving on a suspended license and was subsequently released with a citation.
On 4/7/15 at approximately 1142 hours, Officers responded to the 400 block of west Palm for a report of a fire. Upon arrival, Officers located Ricky Flynn (DOB 1/19/88, bro/blu, 6-02, 220) standing next to the fire and making statements indicating purposely starting the fire. The fire caused minor damage. Flynn was subsequently arrested and admitted to starting the fire.
On Wednesday, 4-8-15 at approximately 11:06 PM, Exeter Officers observed a Black Camry driving recklessly S/B on Belmont from Visalia Rd. The vehicle reached speeds of 80+ mph and ran the stop sign at Belmont at Firebaugh. The driver of the vehicle, Lindsey Kate Anderson, 20 Years of age, from Exeter, Date of birth 1-29-95, 5’3”, 125 Lbs, brown hair and eyes, failed to stop for emergency lights and siren and again drove recklessly through a residential neighborhood to evade capture. Anderson slid into her driveway and fled her vehicle on foot, running into her garage and closing the garage door, ignoring lawful orders to stop by police. Anderson was subsequently taken into custody and was also found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. Anderson was subsequently processed at the Exeter Police Department and booked into the Tulare County Jail, Pre Trial Facility of the charges of reckless driving, evading police, obstructing a police officer in the line of duty and driving on an expired driver’s license.
